Michael Pucci is a passionate family man living in the local community with his wife, Anna and their two daughters.
A 20 year active duty veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Michael has experienced challenges in difficult situations throughout the world. Also, before becoming a State Member of Parliament for Queensland, Michael was Executive Manager for of a business that employed approximately 200 people in Queensland.
With both a military and civilian career Michael has a solid grounding, understanding, negotiation skills and compassion for those who are doing it tough.
As a local resident of Logan, Michael was dissappointed in the increase in crime, poorly maintained schools and roads, increased pressures on families, an underperforming health system and a stalled economy.
Michael knew that by working with the community the Logan electorate could be made stronger and turned into a better place to live, work and raise a family.
That’s why in 2012, Michael siezed the opportunity to represent the Logan electorate in the Queensland Parliament as the Member for Logan.
Through hard work and late nights Michael fought and delivered for Logan while in Parliament.
School maintenance backlogs were reduced to zero, roads are safer and improved, crime was reduced with increased police officers on patrol and the health system was better funded and resourced.
Michael has also fought for concerned residents who have expressed worries about local infrastructure like the Loganlea to Jimboomba power line.
Michael understands that a job is never done and knows there is still more to do.
That’s why Michael will continue to use his strong voice to improve the quality of services and infrastructure in this region.
Michael Pucci’s strong voice, a voice that is heard, will ensure that Logan families, businesses and residents have a bright future.
